Since my other Porsche 986 car is my daily driver and I enjoy tracking it so much, I decided to purchase another Boxster and build it into a racecar.
It starts an Arctic Silver/Boxster Red/Black, 1999 Porsche 986 with a 2.5 Liter, 201 HP engine with 17” wheels.
Slowly it will be built into a full-blown racecar which can also comply with the Boxster Spec Racing Rules with minor modifications (hence the model year 1999).
Many of my already proven mods will go on this car and many racing parts as well.
First, the car needs to be stripped down of its interior and any part that can save weight, such as air bags, door panels, carpeting, lining & insulation, factory seats, air conditioning system, dashboard, parking brake system, spare tire & tools, audio system, etc., etc.
We are looking for Partnerships and Sponsors to help us build and race this car. Our intention, after the first racecar is built and tested, is to build multiple cars to order for customers. Needless to say that Sponsor’s and Partner’s products will be offered in the new cars.
